About Us

Alice and Angela (the owners of MzFixItHSV) are friends who decided to tackle their own home repairs after suffering from overpriced bids, careless contractors, and vague explanations for unsatisfactory work. Over time, our skills grew and so did our workload. Because of our experience, friends and family began requesting help with starting (and sometimes completing) their projects. Along the way, an idea was born: Why not start a business that finishes the projects that go undone for way too long? You know the ones. The mini-blinds still sitting in the corner, or the raggedy threshold at the front door. How about the leaking faucet or the bucket under the kitchen sink?  And wouldn't it be nice to have a garbage disposal that works?  How about the floors and wall paint that haven't been updated since, well...ever. Need cabinets updated?  Thinking about a backsplash for your kitchen? We’ve been there, and we’ve done that!

Our goal is to bring excellence to those home repair projects that are often overlooked, left "as-is" or incomplete – for whatever reason. Whether it’s a job so small that a large outfit isn’t interested, a job that seems overwhelming or too time consuming, or something you’ve started and can’t finish, we’re here to get it done right.

Our approach is simple: We won't over-promise about what we can do.  We know our limits, and we’re not shy about letting you know what they are!  We will  take the time to understand what your needs are and develop the right plan at the right price.  We are passionate about what we do and we pride ourselves on our professionalism, promptness, and our work ethic.
